🌂 VIVI SKY Old Fashionable Ingenuity Umbrella: Timeless Elegance meets Functional Design Review

I purchased this as part of the Disneybound Haunted Mansion for the Magic Kingdom (Walt Disney World) Daupter Day in April 2016. I liked that it had a more unique look. form. It's larger than I thought it would be though - more the right umbrella size vs umbrella size. As a result, I hardly used it as it was too big to walk in crowds. However, it looks really cool and really works like an umbrella, so I just kept it because it was so neat.

Good size. It is easy. Love the purple color and the easy opening and closing. It's made of UV protected fabric and the shade it casts is definitely cooler. I haven't tried it in heavy rain or strong winds. The only criticism is the curved handle. It's not as smooth as we'd like and is too thin. It's hard for me to believe. Maybe my nails are too long or my grip is weak, but I still have to grip really hard. In the end I keep the wave. Because of this, the screen sits lower than we would like.

Purchased ivory for bridesmaid gifts at a spring wedding on the California coast. All my research recommends more spikes for stronger winds, and pagodas keep popping up. I can confirm that this beautiful and unique pagoda can withstand heavy rain and wind and can't wait to use it for wedding photos. Has a review said the plastic release feels unreliable? I'll say that's how it looks until you press it and notice that the mechanism of the device opens and closes easily. No fighting with others…

Received my purple pagoda umbrella today and am very happy with it so far. It seems to have solid construction and nice style. Overall I would recommend this umbrella as a parasol. Haven't seen it run in the rain yet so I'll update this review when I see it. As for a fancy stick that could be used as an umbrella, there's an odd crack in the frame that makes it less durable for that function.
