Takes good photos and videos for the price. The scroll keys broke before we even started the journey. Didn't have enough time to go back before the trip so opened it up and fixed it enough to scroll in one direction which worked enough. The case stayed waterproof while snorkeling, so that was a big plus.

I bought 2 of these for each of my grandchildren aged 12 and 9 for Christmas. They were going to Florida so I thought it would be nice to use them underwater on the beach. Programming these cameras took some time, they not only take videos but also take photos. The kids had fun with it but their dad had to help them as the camera is small and so are the buttons on it. I think they will really enjoy using them in spring when they can ride bikes.

The product didn't turn on then it turned itself on and we couldn't turn it off. When we realized it was getting hot and the battery was dead, we had to turn it off using the reset function, which requires a tiny needle that we certainly don't have handy in the pool. After safe shutdown, the cycle begins again. It does not begin. The poor birthday boy is so sad. I'm not sure if I want to try and fix it or get it back, but it's unusable as is. I'll see what I can find to replace it before asking

Imagine my surprise that a sub $80 "underwater" camera works as advertised and captures relatively high quality video underwater. Stay at this setting until you are comfortable enough to open the case to change it to stills. For some, this can make a big difference. You are either in the video or in the photo and cannot switch between them underwater. The sound is also very dull due to the Lexan (or whatever). But that was to be expected. The video quality is excellent considering the price…
