Good budget monitor mount

I've worked on many projects with very expensive monitor mounts (Ergotron, Omnimount etc) so I'm used to playing with quality equipment. In terms of weight, they clearly do not belong in the same category, but they are definitely suitable for the home office. They sit on my desk and are adjusted not to move unless I want them to (the only exception is when I put my laptop away, that arm extends to its maximum height). I was surprised at how many turns of the adjustment screw I had to make to…

Supports 27 " monitors - with limitation

I followed the printed instructions to assemble this arm for two monitors and was dismayed to find that the arm does not support two 27" monitors as in the specification stated or shown carries in directions. Both monitors slipped out of position and fell onto the desk. The instructions say you should tighten the screws for larger monitors; This was not the case. I spoke to tech support and they suggested I unscrew the screws and lo and behold my hands are stable where I wanted them. When you…

Basically a single arm monitor

The first arm setup went well but the second arm had problem after problem. a little. It wasn't until I got over this and decided not to move the monitor much and decided to install a second monitor that I realized it was crooked. I thought maybe it was a monitor whose screws weren't straight, so I removed the first monitor and put it on the second mount only to find that the part of the VESA connector on the second mount was bent. It bothered me so much I just had to take my whole arm off and…

Add felt pads for tempered glass tables

I really like this monitor mount. I use 2x 24" monitors directly above a 15" laptop screen. Full articulation allows me to rotate the displays like a single curved display. The only issue I had was that my standing desk had a tempered glass top. This is a really cool feature as it allows me to use my desktop as a whiteboard and has features like cell phone charging built right into the tabletop. Unfortunately, when I attached the monitor clamp to the tabletop, there were enough spacers to…

Unreliable and annoying. Loosen your own screws.

Another lesson in carefree hasty buying of things from Revain just because the reviews look decent and the price is cheap. my fault I have another dual monitor mount on another desk that is much more expensive ($265+) but also much more secure. When you rotate the monitor down, it loosens its own screws, causing the monitor to just freely fall inward and fail to hold its position when you rotate it back. So you need to make sure you have a wrench with you to retighten it every time. It never…

Loose, wobbly monitor mount - Not for frequent adjustments

Monitor mount works reasonably well and holds two 27" monitors after adjusting the hydraulic/gas pistons in the mounts. Be careful not to damage the monitors by dropping them on the table. Attaching to the brackets was pretty easy, the brackets have a quick release system that allows the monitor to hang while you screw it on. Brackets are not very suitable for frequent adjustments. , I often move my monitors depending on whether I'm watching movies, working or playing. The armrests aren't very…

Best in class monitor accessory

I bought two of these to stabilize the bottom row monitors and free up more desk space. I have 4 @ 24 inch VESA/HDMI monitors with VESA installed "thin" SOC computers (Intel 8350, N3050 and Raspberry Pi-4b) running virt-viewer to view my virtual desktop Support servers (running CentOS -8.1 KVM) and IBM/Red -Hat/CentOS hypervisor product. Warning. My 12 lb monitors still tilt down a week after I tightened the screws even though the arms are rated for 14 lbs. Monitors are different models from…

Why didn't I do this earlier?

If you haven't installed a Vesa monitor yet, you might not realize how much better life is with these handy tools. I've been working from home for a while and keeping my desktop clean and organized has always been a passion. Unfortunately, I had 3 non-Vesa compatible monitors at home, so I never really thought about it. Also, for some reason I felt they were expensive and difficult to install. My setup consisted only of my company's 27 inch monitor (heavy junk VA about 9 years old) and my…

Inexpensive monitor arm, 14 lb capacity overpriced

The VIV0 102-0 dual monitor stand is a worthwhile purchase for the price. It supports a double clamp/sleeve for a secure fit, as opposed to a single clamp/sleeve. The temples are metal and feel solid. You look good too. I bought it to support 2 monitors and get rid of my desk. I mounted it with a grommet mount as my desk has a frame that interferes with the clamp. Installing the brackets was easy. The instructions are concise and clear, and the hands were ready for my table in about 15 minutes.
