Really great idea for a TV stand. The only problem is "weighing your flat screen" especially when it's old. Old flat screens = heavier flat screens. We kind of didn't pay attention to that, opting for the screen size instead. Just consider the weight of your TV and the maximum weight of the stand. I was going to install a 32" TV with a 100x100 VESA template but everything here seemed to indicate a minimum compatible size of 200x200. I figured I'd have to use some kind of adapter, but when the easel stand kit arrived I was happy to see that the mounts were actually rated for 100x100! The stand did not come with the correct size screws for my Samsung 32 inch which required M4-0.70 x 20mm (closest size was M5 x 14mm).
