Really great idea for a TV stand. The only problem is "weighing your flat screen" especially when it's old. Old flat screens = heavier flat screens. We kind of didn't pay attention to that, opting for the screen size instead. Just consider the weight of your TV and the maximum weight of the stand. Amazing minimalist design and you have to figure out what to do with all your cords and cords and having a 'smart tv' with everything on screen instead of cable boxes, roku devices etc makes things easier too. All in all a cool, non-invasive way to display your TV.
