I had a problem with our cat urinating on things in our basement so instead of framing the door I hung a curtain but it didn't startle him enough to keep him out so I did ordered this zipper and I am very satisfied. I thought the glue was too weak to stick to the fabric and I had to see that, but I was surprised to see that it sticks really well and the zipper is good quality!

They're so cool. And they are heavy. The stick on the adhesive part is durable. As soon as it is switched on, it lights up. Once a month I had to reprint a part or two, but still very good. Not 100% lightproof, but will still block most light. In the darkness of your room you can see the cables, but the room is still completely dark. Also block the smell of weed. I used these zips in an outdoor greenhouse during a severe winter and they worked very well! Went through -25 under and blizzard conditions. I didn't apply them as directed as they didn't stick to the greenhouse plastic type, but after manually sewing in the first 2 zips they survived 6 months of wind, heavy rain, hail, snow and cold. They are not designed for these conditions, so I highly recommend them! I bought more because you can't buy replacement zippers for a greenhouse.

Adhesive on the back came loose after just a week. The zipper opened with almost no effort. Very disappointed with the product. I had high hopes for it and at first thought it would be a great job.
