usually fairly dry place

Installed under the hood near the battery, usually quite dry place. Didn't even last a year. Good quality horn and hose, but the compressor has failed. You need to buy a cable and a few other things, but any idiot can install it.

Pros
  • Electrical equipment
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

No sound!: Replacement parts

I fitted another similar horn with no problems. When I received the horn, the first thing I did was connect a hose to the horn. When you blow on the hose, you should hear a beep. Nothing. My previous beep setup I did this and it immediately sounded like it should. Thinking maybe I just couldn't blow hard enough I went ahead and hooked up the pump to 12v and tried to start it. No, the pump didn't work either! I've never had both failures. Sent back for a refund.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Can't remember

It annoys the idiots. I'm happy with it!

Important update at the end of the review! I received this horn a week ago. Sent quickly. It was pretty easy for me to install on my 2500. I just had to find a place for it. I have a Wolo horn switch/relay kit with it. Aside from having to make a bracket, I installed it fairly quickly. It's a bit higher pitched than I'd like, but it's still a definite improvement over the standard horn in terms of tone and volume. That will surely wake up the SMS dolts in front of me who are sitting on the…
