Velcro is stronger than glue, but there is a workaround

The dots are quite tacky, but when the two halves are perfectly aligned, the velcro loop is stronger than glue. The Velcro pulls one side of the point away from what it's attached to. The workaround is to misalign the two halves so that the hook and loop overlap is lenticular instead of circular. This increases the stickiness to hook loop ratio and solves the problem. Yes you can use ALL points, they are so cool!

I think I'm new to using these velcro dots! I love her. I'm sure there are hundreds of different ways to use them, but I have created "silent" folders for my grandchildren to use at church. In addition to all the pictures in the folder, I attached the crayon boxes (of course closed with Velcro on the lid!) on the inside of the folder, attached the pens. They stick to the wall pretty well, but won't stick to anything but anyone.

UPDATE: They really are terrible. I have to use super glue to stick them to NOTHING! I really wish they worked alone as it would save me so much time having to glue with super glue, let it dry and scrape excess glue off my fingers. I drive a school bus. I bought these to use as name tags for certain places. I have over 100 kids who ride my bus so I needed quite a few and it was a lot cheaper than buying multiple boxes of 24 at Walmart.
