I wish I had zero stars. The key fob does not contain a programmable chip. Key fob money and locksmith fees. Waste of money and time!

Key fob programming is easy. The key works when ignited, but the key blade does not open the door lock. It seems too thick for a door lock cylinder. The ignition works perfectly, as does the remote control. Without this problem I would have given 5 stars.

I have a 2014 Mazda CX5. This key didn't work. I went to a local locksmith and they said the new blank key should look exactly like the one I copied. Even when this key came, it was said that you couldn't program it yourself. It would be nice to know when I ordered this.

I recommend! Good quality at a fair price. The 4d63 40bit chip was included in the kit and you only need to assemble it with a key. You don't have to buy the chip separately! The battery is also included and already installed. Seller needs to update photos and description to avoid confusion hence only 4 stars.

Update! I opened the key but there was no transponder chip so it couldn't be programmed. Do not drive a car with an unprogrammed key. The key is cut according to the program, so it is not subject to return. Very disappointed. The seller asks you to contact them if there is a problem, but no contact information was provided.

Good quality. I needed a replacement key fob so I programmed a new key fob before taking it to a locksmith to have a blank key cut out. I downloaded the instructions from the website and had no problem programming both the new fob and the factory fob AT THE SAME TIME. It seems that if you ever program a key fob, the code changes.
