🐘 Green Elephant Tea Mug - 15oz Review

The place where the tea bag belongs is not properly connected to the rest of the mug, meaning it is on the table of the person trying to use it. I have to go back, which is a shame because otherwise it's very cute.

Sent this to my daughter in YSU! College is stressful so sometimes it needs tea! She immediately sent photos. She kept her honey warm in the holder while her tea oozed out. She loves this mug! It spread some joy. (Why is everyone so picky about a $15 item? Definitely worth the price)

Two stars less due to lack of functionality. I love how cute it is, but the elephant head that makes up the tea bag pocket isn't fully rooted to the cup on one side, so it drips all over the place when you put the tea bag in the pocket. It's still cut very short but lacks its function.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my boyfriend and while it looks cool when he microwaves it for 1 minute 45 seconds the water is not hot, but the cup itself is very hot. Of all the mugs we have, this is the only one that does, hence my score. This mug looks cool but isn't very functional.

This is an adorable mug and in theory it might sound like a great idea; However, if I place the used tea bag in the designated place and hold the mug by the handle to drink, the residual moisture in the tea bag drips onto my chin or onto my clothes. This is what happens when I squeeze excess moisture out of the bag before anyone asks. But the cup is cute.

Made in China. The actual glaze of the pottery is poor. There was a large chunk of unglazed clay stuck in the cup and I couldn't tear it off. The idea is great but it's a bit heavy to hold like a mug and if you're just using the extra compartment as a holder for your used tea bags I wouldn't recommend it. Plus, the packaging says it's FDA approved. What mug have you ever bought, it's approved by the Food and Drug Administration, that's what the warning label told me

Received this mug today, see picture which looks a little different than the original picture, mostly more orange around the bottom. I've just started drinking tea and love the idea of having a compartment to slide the pouch into when it's brewing, rather than having to use a separate tea bowl that needs to be washed afterwards. The mug is a little lighter than it looks, the legs raise the bottom of the mug by about 1cm and it can take a little getting used to sipping as it's the perfect spot…

I ordered 1. When it arrived there was a huge piece of ceramic clay with sharp edges baked into the surface on the bottom. I sent it back for a replacement. The replacement also has a defect: Several sharp shards of pottery are burned into the glaze. When I tried to return this second one it gave me a $0 refund option because it's a replacement. Now I have to make a phone call to get my money back. Absolutely terrible product control and workmanship. Don't waste your time or money.

Bought this mug for my dad for Christmas. He drinks tea constantly and puts a tea bag on each plate or paper towel. Also, my parents collect elephants, so I thought it was perfect! However, after I gave it to him, I started to regret it.
