Worked great for an oil change in my 2006 Sprinter but I was a bit disappointed when I opened the box and only found the oil filter wrench but no grooves. I thought playing the flute might be my new hobby in retirement, but that dream was shattered. My local flute shop was closed due to COVID and that was my last hope. Good

Nothing complicated, it works. Fits 2014 GL450 with V8 engine (not amg, pictured). Also fits my 2006 E320 CDI. Fits well, easy to turn. Feels pretty heavy. You twist the plastic filter cap, it's more than strong enough for that. Some tools need to be specific, this one is pretty basic and doesn't need a star! Spend your money on high-quality oils and filters, save at the same time.

I don't know why it has such good reviews, it's not well thought out. The depth is really not enough to protect the oil filter housing cover in most cases, it is too shallow. The tool is also a bit sloppy, causing deformation/damage to the body when working in close contact. This tool is perfectly acceptable when the cap is easy to remove but will damage tight enclosures.

Works great with my car's oil filters. I have a '99 Volkswagen Beetle and the filter is pretty darn hard to do by hand or with one of those universal oil filter strap wrenches. It fits great with a little wobble which is perfectly normal. The outlet fits perfectly with an extension to gain access. The material is cheap and light, but perfect for its price. Suitable for filters with a round top and without a flared top.

For some reason Mercedes doesn't cast the hex nut to remove the oil filter housing (like my 2017 C-300) on the 2017 GLE 350. I hesitantly used a strap wrench when changing the oil, tried an oil grade stamped steel wrench or two, but they didn't grip the plastic housing enough to remove it. This product fits snugly and works great - I'm no longer afraid of crushing the case with a belt wrench. Didn't have high hopes for a $10 tool but this keeper did.

Although the oil cap wrench was highly praised, I received a mediocre wrench. Neither the packaging of the plastic bag nor the wrench bears the manufacturer's name. There are a few round awl marks around the inner hole, I have no idea why, and a few small pieces of metal hanging around three of the six round mounting holes that were made during production that I removed are definitely not a mark of quality.
