I've juiced grapefruits, oranges, lemons, limes. I've read in the comments it works for pomegranates. Make sure you get the tall one, the tall one is more expensive but fits a pint glass underneath it. If you get the shorter one you might find yourself juicing into a smaller glass and pouring into a taller one, just spending extra couple bucks is worth it. Love this product and has a lot of torque behind crushing out loads of citrus. A little worried about how well it will slide after multiple uses and cleanings. Almost feels like it will need to be greased. I also worry about the plate bending that the fruit sits on as it is a little thin.Does not work too well with grapefruit and especially pomelo’s. Small limes such as key limes, are also difficult to use. Overall great product.

Having used a couple of kinds of citrus juicers, this is my overall favorite so far. It is not perfect (it doesn't take much pulp out of the peel- and personally I like to eat that pulp separately) but it is simple, functional and does the job. I used to borrow a similar citrus juicer from a friend for a cooking class I taught for children. She moved far away. I had often thought that I would like to get one myself - for myself and to share with my Kindergarten/1st grade class. Found this one and within a couple of days we juiced lots of lemons from our school's tree and had a lemonade treat for all. The kids loved it, it was easy for them to use, and we look forward to the next time soon!

After a couple months of use on weekends, the cast iron developed a crack. I sent a message to the seller asking if there was a warranty on the unit, and have yet to get a response. I attempted to patch it with epoxy but it soon just fell apart, and rendered useless. If you're just wanting this for around the house use to juice an orange for breakfast, it's fine, but if you run a lemonade stand with even a little volume, I'd strongly advise to look elsewhere.

There are many juicers on the market but this machine is the professional way to handle this task in a residential setting or would be equally used for a business setting as well. It extracts all the available juice in citrus. Cleaning is relatively easy. It is better than a electric juicer.

I love- love this juicer, it's heavy duty & can take even the large fruit to juice. But I must say I got bonked on the noggin when I first got it as that handle is quite heavy which makes it very easy & smooth to pull down to juice the fruit. Worth the time spent juicing the fruit & I don't have to buy an electric one every other year as the motors burn out on the electric ones easily when juicing like a big ole fruit tree.

One hole was not drilled and threaded properly. The leg won’t screw in. Lucky for me, I have a tap and dye set to fix this issue. It’s annoying I have to waste my time because they have poor quality control. One other leg won’t screw in all the way either. It’s very heavy duty with cheap little legs. Should have used 1/4-20 bolts.

Perfect for making drinks. Easy to use and clean. Sturdy and heavy. I put a rubber mat under mine so it wouldn’t move while using. Does the trick. I would recommend this to anyone with a home bar.

First of all, I was shocked at how HEAVY this iron monster is. Second, it's not very efficient at juicing, of all things. I had to keep turning orange and grapefruit halves to get all the meat properly pressed and juiced. There is an enormous gap between elite commercial juicers and what you can reasonably afford at home. For home use, this is a solid manual juicer.

Update 2: Forget the rubber band. They break too easily. I've done this enough to know that effective use of this type of juicer is procedural. Cut up all of the pieces you intend to juice beforehand. Then your squeezing hand never needs to leave the lever and the other hand can feed new pieces and remove the old. This juicer has a very professional look and feel. It works flawlessly to extract as much juice as possible and very easily too. You definitely get all the juice in comparison to the little handheld squeezer. Cleanup is easy. This will be the last juicer I’ll ever have to buy. So worth it.
