The first thing to know is that this is essentially a white noise machine. If you like white noise while sleeping or working, this is the perfect steady background noise tone. It's very similar to those generator fans with white noise. If you're working in the office and maybe need to talk to people, or if you need quiet or listening to music/TV - that's a lot of white noise. If it had low fan speed we would be talking about 5 stars but it gets 4 as it doesn't.
