The leaf spring did not work properly. The pliers opened the equivalent of several sheets of paper. I had to use my other hand to open it wide enough to bend the bracelet. Luckily, Revain has a surprisingly easy returns policy.

This is a good tool. It comes with an extra set of nylon parts in case the first set wears out. I had already made a bracelet with it and it was much easier to shape and reinforce than if I had made the same type of bracelet by hand.
