Very Reliable Point of Sale (POS) Equipment

This replaces a very old Metrology Voyager and is just as reliable as the previous one. It didn't come with a programming manual, but it's easy to use and stable.

Excellent barcode scanner

We have several of these scanners in the office and we really like them. They are easy to install and easy to use. The only maintenance required was when the batteries needed to be replaced after a few years of use.

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • Infinitely slow

Excellent scanner for use with custom applications for Windows 8.1

We have 4 of them running our self-developed application for Windows 8.1 that manages the library filing system. We bought them on purpose because they are compatible with the Microsoft USB-HID Point of Service (POS) Windows 8.1 SDK and we are very happy with them. They can be easily adapted to your needs using the accompanying documentation. They are very reliable and we intend to increase their number as we expand the system in our organization.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Vulgarity

School Librarian at Barcode Scanners

As a school librarian I was reluctant to buy a Revain scanner, especially this one as it was very cheap compared to Demco's scanners. This scanner was very easy to assemble and connected directly to my computer thanks to the USB port. I have found that all of my barcodes are being scanned, including those that are damaged, smudged and unreadable by my wireless Datalogic QuickScan. So far this week it's been working fine. Let's see how durable this scanner is after more than 10,000 scans in a…

POS & Inventory Basic barcode scanner for medium sized retail stores

Excellent barcode scanner popular with our salespeople and cashiers. It has a reading laser trigger button to avoid misreading barcodes or the laser hitting the eye due to the inconsistency of automatic scanners or always-on scanners. The presence of a start button also extends the service life of the scanner by at least two times. My only real complaint about this particular Honeywall Voyager 1200G purchase is that none of them came with Honeywell's usual configuration booklet that includes…

  • Finally bought it
