POS & Inventory Basic barcode scanner for medium sized retail stores

Excellent barcode scanner popular with our salespeople and cashiers. It has a reading laser trigger button to avoid misreading barcodes or the laser hitting the eye due to the inconsistency of automatic scanners or always-on scanners. The presence of a start button also extends the service life of the scanner by at least two times. My only real complaint about this particular Honeywall Voyager 1200G purchase is that none of them came with Honeywell's usual configuration booklet that includes all the settings. Barcodes and Reset/Defaults used to initially set up each new scanner. I tried using the older 1200G configuration booklet but it didn't work. I'm not sure why? Or why the configuration booklet that I always received with previous purchases of Voyager 1200G scanners was no longer included in this scanner set. Until now, the Voyager 1200G has been the most popular barcode scanner in our retail/POS systems. We've used many other makes and models from Honeywell and others in the past, but over the past three years the Voyager 1200G has become our de facto point-of-sale and inventory barcode scanner in all eight of our specialty stores and is the the only scanner of the brand and model we are currently using. I really wish there was a configuration booklet included. I was able to deploy the scanner in 60 seconds using the configuration book. Now I have to use Honeywell's software configuration tools, which is much less convenient.
