It's ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL at $12! They work exactly like the $35 Tamiya cutters and completely destroy the $20+ Vatcan Prime cutters. They don't cut as cleanly as the USAGS Single Blade, but they dull after just a few sets and still amaze me. You can't come close to this quality without AT LEAST spending double! I would recommend lubricating them with WD-40 (but I recommend this for all cutters).

What does this mean for my modelling. Cuts through wood like a hot knife through butter. No more breaking small complex parts trying to separate them. Clean cuts. Less trimming is required with the Exacto blade. I'm very happy and glad I stopped using side cutters on my model making projects. The real test is yet to come as we'll see how long they stay sharp. I recommend this product at the moment. Goodbye.

These are excellent side cutters for model making. I decided to upgrade my $6 set because the thick, dull blades required a lot of cleaning after each cut. I was thinking of the $45 Godhands but wanted to try this cheaper set and I'm glad I did! The blades are beautiful, thin and very sharp. They seem to do well (although I'm usually careful with my tools). Cuts are clean, additional cleaning is practically unnecessary. I would definitely buy them again!
