The Auto Vacuum button worked most of the time, but sometimes this button didn't work either. The sealant itself is usable but all the bags included in the kit are broken. We sealed the peas in bags and most spilled out after a few minutes or a few days. When we examined the sealed airbag underwater, we found that bubbles were coming out of the bag. NOT under the seal, but by some flakes so small that they are not even visible on the packaging. To be honest if I were only sealing 1 or 2 items at a time I would give this item 5 stars. But I usually seal a bit more than that at a time. I source and process my own meat and we shop at Costco and I like to cut my food into smaller portions. The instructions for this device say to wait 1 minute after each fill.
