Do not buy for the bluetooth function

We bought this to use as a bluetooth hands free kit, connection is almost impossible and keeps disconnecting. Do not buy this for bluetooth connection.

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • Not fashionable

So many promises but nothing delivered

Waste of money, my $60 Grandatream iPhone is better for conferencing than this unit, no noise cancellation, lots of echo, bluetooth robotic voice is only good for listening to music. :S, hopefully I can get it back or get it working as intended, but for now it's a waste of money.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Everything is great

Works well, but choose a model with 4 external microphones.

If you are deciding between this model and another model with 4 external mics, choose 4. We used it in a small room and more mics would have done our job better. Otherwise, it connects perfectly to a cell phone via Bluetooth, no special services are required. Use your mobile phone's conferencing features/services to initiate calls.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Speed

Cannot be used for conference calling

We couldn't use this device for conference calling because everyone else on the line says they can't hear it because voices sound like murmurs or a lot of echo. This is despite the fact that there are no other caller microphones nearby and the speaker is holding the system's remote microphones. We need to buy a new/different system. It's too late for me to go back so it's expensive paper pulp.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

For Skype, get the USB version, NOT the Bluetooth version

We bought the Bluetooth version (VCS752) to use for Skype calls. The sound quality was good when connected to a MacBook Pro, but TERRIBLE when connected to a Mac Mini. I suspect this is more of an issue with the Mac Mini's Bluetooth radio than vTech, but I just wanted others to know. If you want to use this hands-free kit to connect to a PC, please purchase the USB version (VCS754). We bought the VCS754 and now the sound is crystal clear.

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • I have no negative feelings about it, everything is fine
