They are advertised as 316 Stainless Steel which is non-magnetic. A magnet sticks to the hardware, so draw your own conclusions (the mounts are magnetic too). They have a nice polished finish but can corrode easily.

Looks and works much better than the original. The screws are fine. slightly thicker, and one of the heads has broken off. So be sure to pre-drill the hole. even if it looks like it / and should go in. The quality of the screws is not enough in my opinion. But the mounts and pull pins work great!

Used these to replace the black plastic body kit brackets on my 2010 MacGregor 26M. The holes lined up perfectly and the SS mounts look much better than the original plastic. I was particularly pleased that the mounts came with easy-to-lock pins, which I decided to purchase separately.

The product is heavy, which is good. Well done. Supplied with screws. However, since Revain recommended adding it to my purchase, that's why I chose them. Once installed they will not fit the top racks on the OceanSouth Bimini 8'. With that said, I shaved off the plastic mounts on the bimini posts and left those hinges on the deck.

These Stainless Steel Quick Release Deck Hinges are worth every penny. I had the smaller vinyl hinges for the triangular canvas and wanted to use them for the new 8ft bimini. However, the end caps on the new bimini were longer and therefore the holes did not line up. I had the new vinyl hinges that came with the bimini but they didn't match the existing mounting holes in the boat. What to do? Drill more holes in my boat? Try another bimini with smaller poles?
