Strong but weak in sport

Lots of confidence riding bumps and small potholes as a 236-pound rider. Pros: - Arrived safely - Sturdy, well built. - budget option for recreational use - durability Cons: - bushings are rubbish. Lots of play before it hits. - On the heavier end for 700c They're good for when you need something for your workout. Fair value given the terrible center.

Pros
  • Hubs: Street cartridge bearings (F2 x R2)
Cons
  • Unreliable

Great looking tire, rolls well and at a great price

The wheels roll really well with cartridge bearings compared to cup and cone bearings. I've had a lot of tweaks that I'm trying to deal with. Use a different sealant. It is very difficult to mount my tires as they are too tight resulting in some punctures when only mounting the tube. The jury is still out, if I can avoid the flat tire the wheels will work fine. I don't know about the weight, but time will tell about durability.

Pros
  • Rims: 30mm profile with 6061 aluminum pins With CNC side valve: Presta - Colour: Black
Cons
  • Not bad

Clydesdale Rider Solid Wheelset

Good strong and stiff wheelset. Compared to my old bikes they are about 1 pound heavier and overall as a Clydesdale racer I don't mind a pound. I'm really liking them so far and I'm looking forward to riding them with confidence in my first century of the season in two weeks' time. Updated Rating! I will not change the stars at all. Today, while driving, the spoke on my rear wheel finally burst. Considering I've ridden them about 1900 miles without checking it, I think that says a lot about…

Pros
  • Handcrafted: 700C alloy wheelset, Compatibility: Shimano/SRAM, 8/9/10/11 speed
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for seniors

Call All Clydesdale Riders

This review will NOT show as a 'Verified Purchase'. Why? Because I bought them from another site a few years ago. And when I say years ago... I mean I can't remember. It was so long ago. My graphics are slightly different. But I'm sure the quality is still there. Unfortunately, since breaking my hip two years ago, I haven't been able to ride that far and that fast. Also, I put the pounds back on. So I dusted them off, pumped up the tires and remounted them on a different bike than the one I was

Pros
  • Extras: Alloy quick release and nylon strap, strap Weight: 2435g pair
Cons
  • Weight
