Classic design for a ratchet

They are good for attaching a car to a trailer. My issue with them is that they are difficult to install as the strap can only be pushed with two hands. If you have another person hold the belt while you tighten it, you will get better results. However, they are super strong and work well. With the right attachment, you can drive over bumps and turn without worrying about the load shifting. I am very happy that I received them.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • So far so good

Fits RZR wheels over 30 "

Bought these to take home my new rzr xp 1000. It was a 325 mile drive home. Straps are perfect for 30 inch wheels. I never had to tighten or tighten the seat belts while driving. These straps are made from quality materials and I would recommend them to anyone who wants to make sure the bike doesn't move at all. Also, I feel that now that I've put them on, they can buckle and unbuckle faster than before when I attached them to the frame and bumper.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Not sure

Nice supplement for leisure carriers

I typically tow full size trucks and jeeps on a car transporter type trailer and prefer chains and axle mounts. I got them because the random machine is too low to put the chains on comfortably and sometimes there is no good place to put the chain on the front. They worked well then but it takes a bit of fiddling to find the belt and I don't think I would trust them if one of the tires failed to hold the air.

Pros
  • Everything clear!
Cons
  • Good, but not great

These work great! - Tarpaulin and lashing straps

I used to use 2 conventional lashing straps to attach my tractor to a trailer. This usually required another person holding the other end from loosening while I walked around the trailer to tension the belt, or maintained the tension myself by working the other side. With them I can do everything myself and faster because I don't have to thread the belt through the tractor frame. Saves me time loading and unloading and doesn't bother me when my wife says she's helping.

Pros
  • handy
Cons
  • Lanyard shorter than others

If you haul a car you need the best

I used four Vulcan mounts to haul one of my cars 700 miles, the last 15 of which were off-road. Worked like a champ. On the way back I towed a quad and used the Vulcans again. No problem. Easy to put on, stays in place. The material of the strap and accessories is clearly of high quality. I've used several cheap brands over the years. They do the job but are short lived, the hardware rusts quickly and the straps tend to wear out. I bet the Vulcans will hold out much longer. And I think wheel…

Best Ties Ever

I've attached my Road Runner to my platform in a number of ways and this is simply THE BEST! Just in case, I screwed a small block in front and one behind the rear wheels. I was very satisfied with the delivery in 3 days. It was a bit different to see the car moving on its own suspension, but the car is very reliable. I checked the bindings after a few kilometers and they were still very secure. I've ridden my Road Runner 250 miles and these straps are the only straps I will use every time. Too

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled

It fell off, the strap almost broke, gave it back

They were recommended by a friend. I bought a kit to attach my Maverick to the wheels instead of the frame. Maybe it's just how I'm supposed to position my car on my trailer, but I couldn't tie them up in a way that didn't appear like the straps were coming loose from the tires. In fact, I had a rear camber in the 10 miles I used this set. I ended up using the ratchet handle on another harness I had just to see if I liked the bag hook style on my pendant. After being towed 400 miles, the strap…

3 lost on the way.

I purchased Vulca axle and wheel mounts before moving my 1964 Mercury Comet Caliente convertible from Columbus, Ohio to Central Florida in December 2019. The trip to Florida was uneventful and uneventful. In April, on the way back to Ohio, one of the bike mounts somehow fell off and was lost somewhere within the first 250 miles. Two more Dow wheel binders fell off and were lost before we returned to Ohio. I thought I set things up the same before both trips and can't figure out what I did wrong

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Not sure

Mostly good quality, durable

Overall I am happy with these Vulcan ties. However, there are 2 disadvantages. 1. Unfolding the straps, I noticed that none of the protective Cordura sleeves were burned at the ends and all had already started to wear out. It's okay - I used a butane lighter and burned them. 2. The day I received them, I attached them to a jeep that was on my flatbed truck. I had to move the straps on the rear wheels and after loosening the ratchet I found that the small springy pieces of metal that serve to…
