🔵 Blue VuPoint Magic Wand Hand Scanner - PDS-ST415BU-VP Review

Very nice little product. The setup is very simple and easy to use. Scans very well. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that it doesn't say anywhere that a microSD card must be used. From the description it is clear that this is optional but required for scanning in general. It saves it to the card and then you transfer it to your computer using a USB cable.

It doesn't work at all and if you don't try it within 90 days you'll have to pay the shipping cost to return it. I got it for Christmas last year and haven't used it yet.

Open box. It was supposed to be new, but it had dead batteries. The block still worked very well. I make good direct copies. I don't know why some people say they have crooked copies. This seemed to go perfectly straight across the sheet of paper with almost no effort. I decided to leave it as is, although it was obviously used by at least some. Seems a very good deal at $21 I think new ones are $50.

I ordered one of these Magic Wand scanners from another company and the one I received didn't work so I ordered this one. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware that this scanner uses rechargeable batteries instead of a charger, but I'm still very, very happy with this product. I was a little skeptical at first as I had no experience with a stick scanner. However, this product is perfect for what I need. So far I haven't had any problems with the scanner. I used it almost every day for the first 2 weeks I had it. It only took me 2-3 practice scans to get the hang of using it. I've used it to catalog many magazine recipes and newspaper clippings to finally get rid of (over 100).
