They expect better quality. I had a roll of 60 foot vinyl.

Straight out of the tube it comes in, all scuffed and scratched. You pay over $100 for a roll of vinyl and you expect the best quality. I had a 60 foot roll of vinyl wrapped in plastic with no stains. Certainly another company that obviously makes sure their product is protected during shipping rather than letting it go bad in the box. Apparently Vivid cares more about how beautiful the tube it comes in is than protecting the product itself. piss poor

Cheap and easy on vinyl

Pretty easy to work with but deforms if you use a heat gun before applying. A hair dryer may be easier to use, or a heat gun may be used to pass the light through to avoid excessive heat causing shrinkage and permanent wrinkles. It stretches fairly well without heat but can be time consuming and tedious but worth using a heat gun. Air bubbles are easily squeezed out and can be easily moved without soapy water. Best of all, they're thick yet thin enough to overlap with barely-there edges and…

Great result but direction would help

It would be helpful if the reel came with some instructions or other helpful tips on application, best practices etc. My husband and son watched YouTube to get a glimpse of the application. You'll definitely need a blow dryer and roller, especially if you're walking on a curved surface. Without a hair dryer they would have thrown that piece of vinyl away! There is definitely a process for application. It took three people to build the roof of the Honda Civic. Please provide guidance in the…

Don't pay attention to bad reviews!

I chose to ignore the bad reviews and I was right. This vinyl was in good quality when I received it. Car wrapping is a profession for a reason, so don't expect to be able to easily wrap items on your first try unless it's a flat surface. Research how to use this product. Vivivid is known for being a little thicker and more difficult to work with, but it comes with a stronger vinyl that will stand up to the elements longer than thin, thin vinyl. Weigh the pros and cons of your situation. Learn…

Wanted to give a higher rating. But good!

For the price it was really great and I still have some left over to redo my project if I'm a little dissatisfied with some parts after applying it. My only concern, and this is probably user error which is why the product got 4 stars no less, is that without much pressure on the parts of the product applied there is now a scuff (not a crack) that I can. t polish. It is also EXTREMELY difficult to use in tight corners. There are small wrinkles that don't seem to come out. So if you're using…

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Total nonsense. Bought 5'x6' to wrap my car's roof. The vinyl had lines running across the width that looked like it was machine made and rolled. I tried applying it anyway, thinking the lines would smooth out afterwards. Not correct! When I tried to install it it immediately got stuck and couldn't be reinstalled once the entire sheet was removed. As soon as I put it down it was done, it wouldn't move and there was no pressure on the vinyl. The bubbles were almost impossible to remove and using
