Works great for computer accessories and peripherals

My original pen fell apart after about 7 years of use. I had no choice but to find a replacement. Luckily Revane had them and I was able to get them the next day. Worked great, no problems right out of the box. I thought I needed to sync the pen or other tedious "settings" but... no. I immediately returned to painting. I was a bit shocked at the price, I thought these things would certainly be a little cheaper, say around $30 or less, and was surprised that they usually cost $50 or more. Yes…

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Easily repairable

25% failures per year.

We have 50-60 artists that use Cintiqs, 8 hours a day and most use these pens. We have a 25% failure rate per year for these pens. The most common problems are that the button stops working, the stylus is too sensitive (draws when the stylus isn't touching the screen), or the stylus just breaks. If you've ever seen the tiny circuit board and wire inside these buttons, you'll easily understand how fragile they are. I'm usually suspicious when users bring me a broken device (i.e. the pen is…

Pros
  • Useful for more than its intended purpose
Cons
  • I don't have a huge aversion to it, it's ok

Good Buy: Input Devices

Okay, for those who don't know, the pen holder opens up and you can store extra nibs in it. I think it's a pretty fair price. For example, I made a mistake and bought a cheaper version from Amazon and it doesn't work. If I were to get it to work, I'd have to hold it over the character pad and hold down one of the side buttons. Even then, he wouldn't paint all the time. The price for 10 packs of regular black nibs is 10.99 and the pen holder is about 12.99. (These prices are from Amazon) which…

Works great with Cintiq Pro 24 "

My original pen recently failed for my Cinitiq Pro 24" but I have found that my old Intuos Pro pen also works with my Cintiq so I ordered this pen as a replacement (which I'm pretty sure is the same as my old Intuos pen) since it's $20 cheaper than a real Cintiq pen replacement. In the product description above, my Cintiq model was not on the compatibility list, but it works really great with my model! I hate that these pens are so expensive, but if you want to save $20 this is a good option…

Great pen, works no fuss

after 6 years of bullying my first ballpoint pen finally broke and that's my fault too, I stretched out my hands and for some reason thought I was holding on to each one End of my pen and stretching my arm to the sides was a good idea, then my pen was torn in half and its whole metal interior was splattered everywhere, at that moment I probably hit my head a thousand times and I just froze. After an hour of trying to put it back together and failing miserably, I decided it was time to let it go

Pros
  • delivery was very quick
Cons
  • boring packaging

Okay, but there is no pin removal tool and no instructions.

The photos are a comparison between a new stylus and accessories (left) and a factory stylus and accessories (right). It only arrived today so my rating is preliminary. I will update in a few weeks after heavy use. So far, the new and old are almost identical (except that the new one works and the old one doesn't because it got damaged during the move), with a few important exceptions. Most importantly, there is NO SPRING EXTRACTOR in this kit! SAVE YOUR OLD GEAR BECAUSE YOU NEED THE OLD SPRING

It does the job.

Sure, 2048 levels of sensitivity is a nice gimmick, but with 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity you can't really tell. Combine that with a $70 price tag for a tablet pen that's over 2 generations old and gives you a headache in your back. The Wacom Intuos 4 is a tablet that has had many issues, but the review is about foam, not a tablet. In most cases you are reading this because your pen, like many others, broke in half while trying to clean it. The glue they use to hold the pieces together…

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Makes me angry
