Find the right part for your car

Revain shows that the SX785 will fit 2500 series front brakes, but only the lighter 6-lug version. If you have a heavy 8 wheel version you need the SX784.

Pros
  • Multiple competitors
Cons
  • Frequency

These durable pads need to be better at handling heat. When polishing in

Installed today, I replaced my ceramic pads that had gotten hot on the mountain slopes when towing a trailer, these tough conditions of use The pads should withstand the heat better while polishing them. Perfect for a 0.2m 4x4 commuter with 2-piston rear calipers

Pros
  • super for a small house
Cons
  • everything is fine

These brake shoes are amazing I've had them on my 2000 4x4 Silverado 1500 for 3 years and I ride a lot. Like many drivers, I drive Cross Country Escorts and just change them after 3 years. these are 100% my pads at the moment.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Reliability

Great pads, especially when you're pulling heavy loads!

I have a 2000 Suburban that we bought specifically to tow a 5,000 lb trailer. I'm not sure what type of brakes came with the car when I bought it, but they did little to stop the Suburban without a trailer. Everyone wants to sell you ceramic pads, the only advantage of ceramic pads is that they are quieter and the dust is not black like semi-metal pads. I don't mind black dust or even a little noise (although they are very quiet as long as they don't squeak). I want maximum braking performance…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Harsh conditions and only EE rating? I'm glad I got her back.

I carry a lot. I was hoping they would be better at fading than "regular" pads. However, when I received them, there were a few small tears on one pad and I sent the set back. This one turned out to be lucky as the pads are only DOT EE rated for coefficient of friction. What does EE stand for you ask? Well, let me explain because you've probably never heard of it. This is the two-letter edge code required by DOT. , and painted all street-legal brake pads. This gives you an idea of their ability

Pros
  • practical article
Cons
  • so far so good
