Like most Wahl products I've used over the years, this one works as expected. It didn't get 5 stars because I bought it specifically for the LED, which is pretty much useless. I'm not sure if I received a "defective" unit or if it's just poor design as far as the light goes.

This product is not very suitable for cutting these hairs. There are three nozzles in the kit, to be honest I don't know which ones for which ones as there are no clear instructions. Rotating blade for removing nose and ear hair works great. A reciprocating trimmer blade just won't cut. Hardly. Either the spaces between the teeth are too narrow for the diameter of my hair, or the blades are completely dull, or both. But in any case, the trimmer is largely inefficient, so it takes forever to trim even a small area, 0-1 hair is cut off with each use of the trimmer. Fantastic trimmer, better than any I've ever had, works very well on nose, ear and brow hair, tips of teeth are spaced just right to They too can get some of the most stubborn hair growth in hard to reach places. This is a really well made fine line care product that I cannot recommend enough (5 stars) but the "lithium batteries" in the name just means they use AA lithium have powered battery. Don't get me wrong, I think shipping the product with a great AA battery is a huge plus, but the name sounds like a rechargeable lithium battery when it's just an expensive disposable battery (any non-rechargeable AA battery sufficient). that's why I deducted a star. Overall I like this product. The only downsides are: (1) The "light" is weak and meaningless. (2) The choice should indeed include a case so that you can store the product and its attachments in the same zipped compartment. Now I have them in a mug in my bathroom cabinet. This is very annoying. Keeping them in the original cheap plastic they come in is not a viable option in the long run. But the product works perfectly.
