I don't quite see why Amazon would allow this. It can't do what it's made to do, so it's technically useless unless you like the smell of burning plastic. False advertising is illegal.

Always remember you get what you pay for. After installation it took about a minute for the pipe to get enough heat onto the screws holding the heat shield where it just fell off. There is no "heat shield", just a piece of plastic with clips.

The heat shield melted from the clips in less than 3 minutes after the bike was started and idling. I bought a second one for my friend because his friend bought one and had no problems. Once again, the heat shield melted off the clips in minutes. Terrible product and waste of money.
