This product does exactly what I need my bike to do. He raised the steering wheel so I could drive without bending over. One thing is worth mentioning. Typically, the front brake line has limited slack, so consider purchasing a much longer brake line or cable as well. This item allows you to greatly change the height of the steering wheel.

I wanted my e-bike to have a more upright riding position. Most of these extensions are only 3 inches long, but I wanted more. My local bike shop extended the brake and shifter cables for $100 and installed them after I extended the power and control cables for the electric drive system. Works like a champ. and no more neck pain after a 15 mile ride.

This is just what I needed to keep my hands from getting numb while riding. It was neither too short nor too long for me. I'm 6ft 2" and ride a big frame fat bike, but the handlebars were the same height as my seat when I adjusted the pedals. That corrected the poor geometry and made the ride comfortable again. As for quality, it's very durable. doesn't squeak at all. I weigh 280 pounds and it holds up great when tightened. I am very happy with it.

Update - 08/25/19 - Today my husband and I got the bikes out with the extensions installed. Drove about 14-16 miles and the difference was clearly noticeable: no wrist, arm, shoulder, back pain. I'll try a few more rides, but I might even buy an adjustable stem where you can change the angle of the stem. perhaps draw him a little nearer to me; plus maybe just maybe buy some vertical handles.
