Basket is ok but installation may take a long time due to hardware issues

Basket itself is ok, strong and easy to fold. , the screws are too short. Also note that if your luggage rack doesn't have a bracket that attaches to your rear wheel, this basket won't work for you. I couldn't tell from the description what was part of the rack and what was part of this basket assembly and it didn't fit my rack which is good aluminum and has a quick release on the seat post. Workaround I ended up making my own Velcro straps and attaching them to the top of the luggage rack like

Very important! - Cycling

I used to have a box attached to the back of my bike. What a mess - the zip ties often came loose leaving my valuable cargo unstable and vulnerable. These baskets were a huge upgrade. Assembly was quick and easy, all parts fit tightly. For about what a tank of gas costs these days I was able to install 2 sturdy baskets that should last for years. I just removed the baskets and replaced 2 inches back (as suggested by previous reviewers for more leg-to-pedal clearance). The second install was…

You work for us. for bike baskets

I bought two of these for a child who used to cycle to and from school. She was using an inexpensive Performance Bike rack. Every day she carried her backpack on one side and her trumpet case on the other. The baskets have held up pretty well considering how "rude" she is with her stuff. That was 6 or 7 years ago. Now she drives a car. Fast forward to the present - I use them on my do-it-all bike on a Planet Bike Kargo pannier rack. The original hardware that came with the baskets is long gone,
