Fits my 1999 Saturn SL2

After 185,000 miles the original started running which caused the engine to sneeze quite a bit when going over bumps (the honeycomb structures collapsed and clogged the exhaust). I took the car and this converter to the welding shop and they hooked it up there. Works like a champ!

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • General Information

Highly recommended! Works with OBD2 vehicles

Works great on my 2001 Saturn SC2. I highly recommend this converter for older vehicles that lack power, especially when driving uphill or under load. This solved an issue I was having after throwing in bit by bit to figure out my performance issue. Buy and problem solved!

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Can't remember but something happened

I Think It Works - Catalytic Converters

Welded some connectors on this and put them in my old Toyota 4x4. I'm pretty far from being a hippie environmentalist, but I installed it because I really care about taking care of the earth. I'm not sure if it does much, but at least I feel better. This also muffled the exhaust a bit, so that's a bonus.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes

works well so far best in aftermarket

I replaced CAT on my 1997 Chevy Silverado. This is not a direct replacement. I had to get an adapter from Autozone to get it to fit and weld properly. It would be easier to ensure you are ordering the correct size tube. I've had this on my truck for 6 months now. no problem. I drive this truck every day. The mileage is approaching 200,000.

  • This is amazing

Works great but not what I expected and there were no instructions.

Works great but not what I expected and couldn't find any instructions. Search the Internet for information on how to install the converter. It turned out that it can be installed in any way. Most established in and out thanks to the website. I found that there is no useful installation information on the Walker web.

1997 GMC K1500 Suburban.

1. Installing the catalytic converter (1997 GMC K1500 Suburban 4X4) 1. Unscrewed 4 O2 sensors even if they were disconnected, 2. Removed the front exhaust manifold, 3 nuts on each Page manfully 3. 3 nuts in The back (connecting the front to rear exhaust assembly) If you pull the front exhaust out of the truck (it has both catalytic converters and is shaped like a "Y") you can separate the catalytic converters cut and weld and replace time this is TRACK DOUGH, SPOT WELD both ends of the Y-tubes…

Pros
  • Nice touch
Cons
  • Some difficulties
