As described, suitable for catalytic converters and parts

my cat had a hole. I didn't want to deal with the skid plate falling off so I took it to Midas and they installed it for me for less than $100. Perfect fit for my 98 TJ 2.5L.

Fits perfectly. fits catalytic converters

I bought this to replace the magnaflow cat on my '97 wrangler. It literally only took half an hour on my back in the driveway. It also reduced NOx emissions from 3.3 to 1.1. Problem solved.

20x reduction in hydrocarbon emissions

That saved me. I have an old jeep with a custom running engine and rich tuning. Unsuccessful emissions at 370 ppm HC. After installing this shop at 15ppm HC passed parts wanted 2x more money on the catalyst compared to Revain. Fantastic purchase.

Fits 98TJ 4.0L: Exhaust and Emissions

WRT Product Only: Ideal for 98 TJ 4.0. Installed without dropping the slide. Use the chain cutter to cut the upstream pipe from the old cat. Release the silencer. Remove the old spool from the front end of the carriage. Insert new. You will need 2.5" and 2.25" clamps, one for each end. It takes a bit of muscle to get the new cat to fit in the line, but it will pass if you try hard enough.

Study hard and make lots of money, or marry a rich woman and pay someone else to fix it. Or just always drive a new car.

Loved the price - hated the work. Not an easy installation. The main problems are removing the old exhaust pipe from the front of the muffler so that a new pipe can be inserted. I had to give up, flush cut the old pipe and buy an adapter/coupler to put it all back together.
