Save your money - spare parts

Only served 1.5 years, then the honeycomb fell apart and the exhaust was clogged. Don't waste your labor and money on installation

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Without automatic

Great price, great fit, easy to install

Fits perfectly. Resetting the code after the end of the drive cycle. The only difference from the OEM is the type of seal. The price was excellent compared to the OEM.

Walker catalytic converter

The part does its job and I passed the emissions test. However, due to the age of the car, removing the old one was not an easy task. Overall I saved a lot of money compared to buying OEM parts. I took the old cat to the recycling center and got over $300 so I paid for the replacement part and associated tools I had to buy.

2004 Accord P0420 gone! Ready for inspection.

While this code (P0420) could also be from the oxygen sensor, troubleshoot the oxygen sensor using a live data code reader. I did that and found good readings on the O2 sensors and realized I have a bad cat, installation is fairly easy, slightly different than the OEM so you will need nuts and bolts compared to the OEM Cat which has built in bolts Has. You will also need 2 walker pads to do this. Less than an hour of work and no code, for more than a month. This code worked for about a year…

The price is better than the parts warehouse delivered directly to me.

Better price than the parts store with delivery right to my door. Perfect fit and perfect fit (Accord 2006, 4 cylinder). The description could have been a bit better (no exhaust gaskets included) and the studs on the old cat don't fit properly. The bolt holes in the flanges are slightly larger than standard so the bolts rotate when tightened. The bolts will probably work in a pinch, but I just replaced the bolts with screws. Overall happy with the purchase and saved a lot of money by doing it…

Pros
  • Spare parts
Cons
  • Can be retrofitted

Excellent exhaust and emissions quality

You can't go wrong here, especially on a 15 year old car. I installed this on a 2004 Honda Accord Sedan 2.4L 4cyl along with Walker #35460 center pipe (resonator) and their #53517 muffler. These parts plus 2 gaskets and a 2" muffler clamp replaced the exhaust/flex pipe. all the way back. Surprisingly, Honda still offers an OEM catalytic converter whose list price exceeds $1500. The wholesale price was still over $1,100 Doesn't make sense on a car of this age Seems to be a quality catalytic…
