Installed side by side

I installed it side by side on my Yamaha Viking as an extra muffler and it's a lot quieter! I cleaned and painted it black before installing it at our local muffler shop and it looks like it was factory installed.

Extremely disappointed and upset

Extremely disappointed and upset. I received a muffler that looks NOTHING like the picture! I wanted the one in the picture with a flange so I could screw it into the exhaust pipe extension, but I got a muffler with a round barrel and I couldn't attach it to the extension. Very angry.

Not at all what is advertised

This muffler does not even come close to what the seller advertised. Not a 17" stainless steel muffler. It's zinc plated steel, 10" long. No entry/exit markings. The supplier (Tenneco Automotive) went to great lengths to "isolate” itself from all phone calls from customers.

Who designs this crap?

Not as pictured but I knew what I was getting because I ordered by part number. My only complaint is that the arrow printed on the page showing flow says "Enter" next to it. so what is it? Is it pointing towards the entrance or is it pointing in the direction of flow? The world may never know.

Don't judge by the picture but it's still a decent muffler

Don't look at the product image! This is for a simple 6" x 10" round body muffler with 1.5" offset inlets and outlets with no mounting tabs. I bought by part number so this was the item I wanted and needed. I got it ordered for a small engine I deducted 1 star because it's still noisier than I expected but it's still a good muffler that works well.
