🔧 Enhanced Exhaust Flange - Walker 31880 Review

The one-star reviewer either got bad flanges or used it the other way around. The convex sides should converge. When using a gasket, the convex surface clamps the flange directly onto the edge of the pipe. Used them to replace flanges on my 2001 rust bucket charge and no leaks. Also welds well.

I ordered this exhaust flange to connect my exhaust pipe to my exhaust manifold. There wasn't much information about the size. (my mistake) It was too small for my purpose and I couldn't use it. However, I later found a use for it and it wasn't a total loss. Why don't you let us know the dimensions of these flanges so we can determine if they will fit or not? Zeb

Great looking parts but beware the description says the size is 3". This is the overall outside diameter. Be sure to find the correct part number as they have a 2 inch inner diameter. Why they don't list this in the product info is absurd and it annoys me that I got the wrong part but they end up looking pretty decent so 5 stars for quality despite the sizing confusion.

This flange is not flat. He bowed. Line up the flat sides of two of them and you'll find daylight in the middle. The Walker 31388 gasket that joins the two surfaces does not solve this problem. I used these two brand new flanges along with a Walker 31388 gasket to try and hook up a general purpose catalytic converter to my rear catalytic converter as my main catalytic converter had failed.
