🔧 Enhanced Walker Exhaust Flange Repair Kit: Model 36128 Review

Delivered on time. I think even earlier than expected. Some time has passed. Anyway I couldn't use it as the kit was too big for the 1" exhaust pipe I wanted to use. very uncomfortable but not the kit's fault. It probably would have worked except for a size larger than expected.

It is as written in the reviews below. This is a replacement for the 18202W with two missing bolts holding the flange halves together. The diameter is 2.5 inches but it fits the 2007 Explorer. It works fine but it should probably be a 2.25 diameter? I purchased two 2" x 5/16" bolts, lock washers and nuts in lieu of returning as I needed these repaired immediately.

This kit is NOT BAD! You will receive a "SPARE" for the WALKER 36128 called the 18202W kit. The kit comes with 2 halves missing the bolts to hold them together and also only fits a 1 7/8" flange and the gasket is designed for 2 1/4" pipe. And the bolts don't go through the holes they're supposed to slide through. I tried to order this set "3" TIMES from 2 different suppliers. Each time it was a cheap replacement kit that didn't match. The picture is what you will get in the "kit".

This item is a good buy if your pipe is 2.5" and mine is 2.25" so I had to send it back. There really should be a description on this page so people know what the diameter of the flange is before they order. The only reason I gave this set 4 stars is because it doesn't state what pipe diameter it is for, otherwise it would get 5 from me. That's a really good deal.

This is exactly what I need to fix my exhaust where the flange has rotted and fallen apart. The picture is not 100% accurate and the description does not list the size of the collar which appears to be for a 2.5" pipe. The 2 smaller screws needed to connect the yoke weren't included so I had to run to the hardware. save and find something that worked - additional $5.83. For the price I paid I expected to get everything in the photo. If I had a welder and steel lying around I could do it myself…

There is nothing good to say about this set. I don't know who rated the spring or flange screws, but they're nowhere near usable. I believe they are made in India. I guess they thought it was close enough for government work haha. Not so fun when you try to install it. My advice: pay extra for OEM and do it once. Exhaust work is bad enough to do once, there is no need to do it twice because poorly made parts are of poor quality and fit poorly.

No, this will not fit. But I used longer screws and cut the springs so it seems to work. The flange is too small for the "bell" at the end of the muffler pipe between the converter and the muffler. The sinter ring works well. I rotated the inside of the flanges slightly and shortened the tension springs. Distance between flange holes is too short. It's goobed but it works. it's too big for my exhaust pipes, too bad they're not the right size. Due to a lack of screws to hold the clamps together I had to buy these myself which was very annoying. I would return the product but I needed it to fix my car today and it's still cheaper than buying the kit elsewhere. The clamp works well if you have the correct bolts and the spring bolts go through the holes properly. Overall not a bad product just wish it was the right size in the description rather than the comments and
