Worked like a charm on my 2007 Saturn Ion

Worked like a charm on my 2007 Saturn Ion. Also, I saved a ton of money by shopping on Amazon instead of in store. Very happy with the purchase. If you don't have them, you may need to purchase Fel-Pro 61362 and Fel-Pro 61440 with this catalyst.

Perfect fit - here comes a much quieter Cobalt

We bought this and installed it on a 2007 Cobalt. It worked great. We had to buy a gasket - the packaging was a little wrinkled and maybe there were gaskets with it and they fell out. Anyway, $80 for the job and we've got a quiet car that passes inspection.

Part fits perfectly packaging failed

When the part arrived I was very surprised to find that the actual part was not the box but was wrapped in layers of cling film and tape so not the perfect item for the part supposed to be Temperatures can reach over 600 degrees Fahrenheit. After removing all the glue I could, the part stood up exactly as it should. I recommend a new O2 sensor with every cat replacement

Tailpipe rattle and emissions

Catalyst is doing an excellent job, Tech2 live data shows normal O2 operation and post-catalyst monitor is stable in the 650-750mV range at highway speeds for the catalyst to work. The problem is the flexible pipe behind the flange, it rattles and doesn't go away until the exhaust warms up. This converter is also slightly louder than the factory exhaust.

This part is legit, the reviews are correct, this catalytic converter is an extra $30, you won't be disappointed.

I bought this catalytic converter over others because of the Q&A on this part. I've found other cheaper ones online including Fischer I think but nobody ever talks about whether it's automatic or manual but this one has excellent reviews. This is also backed by Revain, which puts my girlfriend and I at ease about spending so much money almost blindly. Mine was for my 2006 Saturn Ion 2 and it fit like a glove which is amazing considering I don't weld nor have any experience with welding and itโ€ฆ
