    Great product for aftermarket parts

    On a 2003 Passat, it saved me $1100 over an OEM install, passed all NY emissions tests and is still working nearly two years later.

    Gasket #31611 does not fit cat converter

    I ordered and returned this because gasket #31611 does not fit the cat converter but the other end of the converter fits gasket #31390 .

    Works great and fits like the original

    This works great on my 1999 VW Passat and fits like the original. The check engine light went out immediately after installation [the code told me the old catalytic converter was bad] and didn't come on for the next 10,000 miles without blinking.

    2019 CA emissions passed

    Bought in May 2019 for my 2003 Audi A4 Quattro 1.8t. Works well, survived CA emissions with no problems and is still working 5 months later with no problems. This catalytic converter works with the quattro system. There were no problems with the gearbox and cardan shaft.

    it seems like a normal cat at a good price, but.

    Looks like a regular cat at a good price but will not work on a 2002 Audi A4 Quattro. This will work on a 2002 Audi A4, but for some reason quattro is important. It would probably fit there, but it's not certified in California. They probably just haven't tested it with a Quatro system or anything. Search the California Air Resources Board for what you need.

    Fits perfectly on 04 WV Passat 1.8L

    Great price! Fits perfectly in the 04 WV Passat 1.8L and passes the California smoke test with no issues so far so good. Note: the gasket 31390 fits perfectly, 31611 does not fit, I cut myself a little to fit the 6 screws from the cat, it's really difficult, prepare yourself with a very long extension for the bushings, so that they can be removed from below can get lost of the car and you have to remove the hole air filter boxes to get the cat out.
