Walker Exhaust 36326 Pipe Flex Kit Review

I connect this to my table saw to direct the dust into a bag that I tape to the other side. Cost effective dust collection solution.

FYI the diameter can be increased or decreased by simply twisting the tube. (Looks like a tight fitting). It took me a while to figure it out, but oh well.

This is a standard flexible tube, the material and quality of which has not changed over the years. The clamp is ok, but the screws are unusable. This kit requires FLANGE BOLTS so they will not corrode the clamp. The price is double that of the local auto parts store.

I needed a 2.5" diameter test pipe for one side of my elbows to a Y pipe - it's an odd angle. This pipe worked well for this purpose - it's 2nd place .5" adapter is easy to relocate and I was able to bend it into the right shape. It was good value for money and shipped quickly.

I only had to deduct one star because he, like many others, stated that the cut at both ends of the pipe is quite clumsy, as if someone had cut a piece with rusty scissors and thrown it in the box. .Other than that it seems very solid, fits and works very well for the job I ordered it for. Only time will tell if it holds up, but at $11 I can't complain if I have to buy another one in a year. Also half the price they wanted for the same at the auto parts store.

Much stronger than I thought, much less flexible than I thought. Cannot be screwed into the middle of the exhaust pipe, only the end of the exhaust pipe is enough, or if you want to remove the exhaust pipe from the car to fix the middle.

To be honest I don't need it I thought, but I didn't because my new muffler actually matches the stock exhaust very well. It would have been better if I had just used a few inches of straight steel pipe to fill the gap. When I received this the edges were very sharp and jagged as if they had been hand cut with metal snips. but i mean it works and no one will see it so i think it was worth it. I removed an old exhaust from a 1999 Dakota and installed it in a double pane. Simple. Flexible and stretchy, but strong and durable. I bought a new exhaust valve but the shop told me it didn't fit. I tried it myself, but I couldn't put the silencers in properly.
