Description of Walker Products 245 1153 Sensor Assembly

Walker Products Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor measures the amount of air by weight through changing voltages or frequencies. MAF Sensor sends information collected to the onboard computer. The computer uses this and other inputs to calculate the correct amount of fuel delivered. Symptoms of failure MAF include poor starting, engine surging, engine stalling, a check engine light, and no-start conditions. Sensors are non-serviceable, replace sensors that are non-functional. I purchased this sensor for my car and it has been working perfectly. It was easy TO install and has not given me any issues.The accuracy of the sensor is spot on and has helped me avoid potential issues..

Waste of Money best in my review

Using this sensor assembly, our team found that it failed quickly and caused inaccurate readings .It was a pain to install and ended up costing us more money in the long run by having to replace it with a different brand..

Stay away. Save money and time by getting your old OEM sensor out of the landfill.

Complete nonsense! Immediately after installation, the engine RPM of my 1997 Nissan Altima jumped up and down a bit. I was hoping it would go away but it only got worse! Except for the fact that the car stops at every traffic light! So I have the old original. Guess what? - The problem is gone! By the way, it even looks terrible - as if the resistors were soldered by a person who had no idea what he was doing, or did this work for the first time.
