Description of Walker Products 245 1244 Mass Sensor

Walker Products Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor measures the amount of air by weight through changing voltages or frequencies. MAF Sensor sends information collected to the onboard computer. The computer uses this and other inputs to calculate the correct amount of fuel delivered. Symptoms of failure MAF include poor starting, engine surging, engine stalling, a check engine light, and no-start conditions. Sensors are non-serviceable, replace sensors that are non-functional. Terrible article. Is set to install, check the engine light!

Terrible item. Bought to replace a broken old air mass meter. The sensors on this "new" don't look like the original Subaru MAF sensor. With this new product, my car had a check engine light all the time. I put my broken original Denso Subaru sensor back into the car and the check engine light has not come on since.
