Disappointing woodburning tool

I purchased this product for my Arts and Crafts project, but I was thoroughly disappointed. Through trial and error, I found that the tip did not heat up enough to create consistent lines, resulting in uneven designs. However, the one positive aspect was the comfortable grip. Overall, I would not recommend this product for serious woodcrafting projects.

Pros
  • Easy to use and suitable for woodworkers of all levels.
Cons
  • Produces a strong smell during use that some users may find unpleasant.

Fantastic wood burner for beginners

This wood burner was a fantastic gift for my husband who loves to explore his creative side. I was initially apprehensive about purchasing due to some negative reviews, but if you follow the instructions that come with the burner (use a tool to loosen the tips BEFORE the unit cools so they don't get stuck), you've won have no problems. Heats up quickly, burns beautifully even deep lines. There are only positive emotions!

Pros
  • Craft
Cons
  • Flimsy

LOVE LOVE LOVE! I was a newbie about 3 weeks ago and have since bought over 5 different brands of burners (even temp controlled ones). I was looking for something that heats up quickly and leaves dark burns (I have a heavy hand). Even the other 30-watt units I've bought don't even come close. I just can't believe how cheap it is. I'm willing to go big and get a razor burner, but for a versatile wood burner, nothing beats this.

Pros
  • Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • Don't Remind Me
