Nice box. Good construction, smooth surface, no additional preparation required. Very impressive. I have bought 2 of these so far and both have arrived in perfect condition. Received on time. This image is actually a purse I made from a cornice box. This particular box needs some sanding around the edges and I remove the cheap hinges, sand, paint and varnish, then decorate the front and add a latch. I have made several purses with a roomy box and a ledge box. I am very happy with both boxes.

I bought this box to put together a reverse geocaching puzzle. It's perfect because it doesn't have a latch on the front and there's enough space inside for an Arduino etc. plus a small gift. The wood is also easy to cut for the LCD and button. The wood isn't very thick either, so the GPS shouldn't have any signal problems. The only downside is that the hinges are on the outside, so the recipient could theoretically try to remove the hinges to get inside. Although I'm not sure such a person…

Things I would like to know in advance. This is a cute little box perfect for my 6 year old mermaid's treasures. after the packaging plastic has been removed. He just stayed open. I tried, but installing the hinge didn't allow it. So I gave in and bought a mini latch for it and it was a nice upgrade. Then I realized how important some kind of pen is. Luckily for me it drilled well and I was able to make two holes in the top and thread the cord through. Painted well. We did an ocean theme which…
