    SMALL FEET HAZARD

    This is a fairly small box but do NOT use for chinchillas, guinea pigs etc despite the packaging and product information on Amazon saying it is for them. Our little girl got her foot caught between the bars and injured herself almost immediately. Also, the standard size is too small for most rabbits. Misleading Advertising.

    Very good, but ONLY after I changed it.

    This is a large frying pan for (in my case) rats. Depending on the size of your cage, you may be able to remove it through the cage door. I couldn't, so every time I had to dismantle the bottom of the cage for daily cleaning. The mounts were completely useless in my case. I cut them off because they didn't line up with the bars of the cage. Another thing is that the back (leg) walls aren't exactly vertical. They're a bit outward so when you use the clamps it's all up in the air and my rats…

    Stay in place. Large, easy to clean and a good buy in all respects. Although the metal frame can be fragile.

    My rats liked it straight away. They started doing it almost immediately and rarely go beyond that. It's big enough for both rats to sit comfortably on it at the same time. It is very easy to install and once installed, it is easy to remove, clean and replace. (It needs to be cleaned daily, so it's a nice feature.)     I'm generally happy with these shells. I like that the grille has a pull tab so you don't have to put your hands in the grille to pull it out. Some of the other reviewers have noted that the plastic trim on the front comes off easily, which is true. So far rats haven't had a problem with it so I just try to be careful when cleaning or handling it. To be honest, even if it all came out, I don't think it would really affect its functionality.     I took my guinea pig's normal size and filled it with torn newspaper that was already soiled so it could smell the potty. I kept him in a box for two days until his cage came in the mail after I got him from the pet store and he has been pooping and peeing all over the place.     Virtually useless to ferrets without moderate modifications.

    The attachment points on the box where you attach the outer element to attach it to the cage stay in place. Because the inner fastener is inserted into the "hole" on the sides of the tray, which is then screwed into another piece to attach to the cage. My ferret just pushed the tray away from the ports regardless of the orientation (sliding the piece into the hole from the top or bottom).     Non-blocking grille

    I've had a couple of these corner litter boxes to confine my ferrets in, but chose this one because it has a grille to keep them from getting in the box to dig . I was disappointed to find that the grate is not blocked and is only designed to fit into the recesses in the pan, defeating the whole purpose of the purchase.
