Pretty happy. With cylindrical grinding

is a top-notch device that saves a lot of time, both in sharpening knives and in terms of faster preparation time. Pretty happy. Use caution when using an abrasive layer, only use it if you have burrs or dents on the cut surface; If your knife already has a blade, all you really need is a honing and a strap. This is a good tool.

Pros
  • , the grinding wheel rotates in the opposite direction, which allows the blade to be polished and deburred more efficiently.
Cons
  • Difficult to say,

Best sharpener I've ever had

Works great. I only use the course side for very dull knives. The middle side is enough for sharpening. This is my second. The first one lasted me about 11 years and I use it twice a week. Although the engine was fine. I just needed a spare for a medium sharpening stone. I didn't want to bother with spare parts, plus they're expensive. Either way, it's time for a new one.

Pros
  • UL, NSF
Cons
  • boring packaging

The work takes much longer.

Suitable for my use. It's not as good as my old Smith's sharpeners. What I don't like is that you can't adjust the angle. I'm sure it's good for kitchen knives and a weekend warrior. But I'm an outfitter and guide and I have to sharpen a lot of different knives. It would be nice to be able to change the angle. It seems to take much longer to sharpen my hunting knives. Haven't tried it on my skin knives yet.

Pros
  • sharpening angle 18 degrees and 22 degrees; Optimal angles recommended by knife manufacturers
Cons
  • Good but not perfect
