I used this to make a lid for my cooker instead of buying a pasta board. This softens it up so I can now use the stove as extra space when I'm not cooking.

I bought this white batting to use in small quilting projects. I mostly use lighter colored fabrics and the white batting keeps my colors natural while the natural cotton batting is beige giving my projects a yellowed/aged/dirty look. Although the polyester batting is white, I don't want to use it. It's great to be able to use white 100% cotton batting. It is easy to work with and offers excellent value for money.

I love warm and white wadding and always buy it at my local fabric store. It doesn't need to be pre-washed, and after it's quilted, you can machine wash and dry! The fabric store has stopped selling and is now selling other white cotton batting that can shrink, so the instructions recommend soaking in hot water for 20 minutes (DO NOT shake), wringing or wringing out the water and laying flat to dry. I suppose this would be doable using a small piece of cotton, but I couldn't imagine doing this…
