Great sharpener: cutlery and knife accessories

Easy to use, even for inexperienced sharpeners. It keeps my kitchen knives ready to use. Just 5 bars and back to sharpness. I leave this on the counter for easy access. I have two.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Annoys me

Great device. suitable for knife sharpeners

With this device, the correct sharpening angle of the blade can be easily adjusted. In addition, changing the grit is very easy. I bought two sharpeners at the same time and I'm having a hard time deciding which one I like better.

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • Wrinkled

Can be sharpened well without special skills

Easy setup although I used YouTube videos to figure out how to change bricks. Otherwise, very sharp blades are obtained. However, knives with thick jaws (old Henkle Professionals) cannot be sharpened to the edge.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Working speed

Really very high quality sharpener for professionals.

The ease of keeping the same edge on both sides is a huge necessity for me. I'm a very picky sharpener when it comes to knives, this thing is awesome. I bought one for my daughter's restaurant and they love it there too.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Nothing here

Best, easiest for all knives

This is the best and easiest sharpener for any knife to get a good razor or razor blade. The better the steel, the sharper the cutting edge. Simply slide the blade through the spring-loaded stones, letting it fall about halfway, making sure the blade doesn't touch the guide. The guide is also easy to understand, it wasn't written by Japanese trying to write in English. If you want a sharp edge from pocket knives to kitchen knives, you need the Warthog V-Sharp Classic II Elite. A wooden base is…

Replacement stones are a joke

This stone arrived in damaged condition. What actually STONE HOLDER was broken. They sent a holder and a new set of stones, which are just a piece of thin shaped sheet of metal with diamond dust stuck to the surface. Attempting to fit the "bricks" onto the holders was almost impossible, and in the end the "brick" became a bent, unusable piece of scrap metal. I figured I could just buy a new gem holder with new gems. No, only cheap tin bricks exist without the need for a research project to…

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Not automatic

Works and works well!

I have never been satisfied with my knife sharpening skills. So I started reading about sharpening in general, reading knife sharpener reviews, and watching YouTube videos about different sharpeners. In my opinion the Warthog V-Sharp Classic II was the best of them all. When it arrived yesterday, I grabbed every double-edged knife I had and sharpened them. It is very easy to use, sharpening both blades at the same time works very well, as does the guide. All knives feel very sharp (for a…

My second warthog sharpener

I have a 1st generation warthog and bought this latest upgrade. While the old Warthog was great, this new model is awesome! It's a lot easier to change angles, there are upgraded "rocks" for better sharpening, and it's just as easy to use as Warthogs have always been. There are two great sharpeners on the market (the other is good, different stones, different angles, requires flipping the blade, etc.) but the Warthog couldn't be better. I have many knives: 12 inches. Scimitar, assorted kitchen…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • too boring

This is the 5th Warthog V-Sharp Classic II and anything other than this I gave to good friends. I liked the brand and its efficiency and ease of sharpening knives. The quality was great too. IT WAS. No offense to the engineers, or shall we say the NEW engineers or maybe the Warthog's bean counters, but this iteration definitely underperforms by my standards compared to four other Warthog V-Sharp Classic IIs. seems to bend when I sharpen knives. The frame appears to move on the base despite…
