Restricted airflow

I've had this filter for a month and had an ah-ha moment when I received a quote for a new air conditioner as mine wasn't cooling my house to my set temperature. Then it dawned on me that I had changed the filter and found that it was restricting airflow. Live in Florida and the AC works most of the year. The air conditioner is only 7 years old. Never had problems with disposable filters. We went and bought disposable paper filters and the airflow improved. What now with this expensive filter…

Pros
  • 100% MADE IN AMERICA. Real filtration, real protection
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Pros
  • BETTER AIR QUALITY to the waste stream. MERV efficiency class of 13, filtering atmospheric particles that a traditional disposable filter cannot. Breathe clean, healthy air
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Fits perfectly, now we wait.

Finally broken and got washable filters for his oil stove. I live near a dirt road so dust is always a problem and I only had to use merv 8 or lower otherwise the filters have to be changed every 3 weeks and of course they don't catch fine dust. I hope they give me cleaner air and save money. I'll probably have to clean them every few weeks but I think if the air is filtered better I can work longer and I plan on checking them every 2 weeks now. Because they not only fit perfectly, but are also

Pros
  • NANOFIBER TECHNOLOGY. Not electrostatic. 3-layer meltblown construction to increase dust capacity. The nanofiber captures ultrafine impurities while the canvas acts as an additional reinforcement.
Cons
  • So far so good
