Highly recommended.

I had a small problem ordering this item as it is listed as a 3 liter bottle and I received a 2 liter bottle. However, I contacted Mazama and they worked with me and got me the right size within a few days. I took it on a recent hike and really liked it. It is very easy to fill due to the wide opening and fits almost anywhere. I also used it in my Camelbak MULE and it fits like a glove. It also has a small magnet that keeps it on the shoulder strap. I had my doubts but it held up pretty well…

Great quality but needs improvement

I needed to replace my camel bread chamber and liked the idea of a snap-on lid (although the latching mechanism should protrude outward to make opening the lid as easy as possible) as the screw-type camel bread becomes incredibly firm once sucked . This design does not have a hose attached to the back which is great for strapping over the shoulder. It also doesn't have a hook at the top of the hydration bladder to prevent the hydration bladder from sliding down the carrier when it's less full…

Good reservoir but needs an overhaul

This is a good hydration reservoir that helped me stay hydrated while hiking in southern Utah last month. As you know, Utah is very dry and it is important to always drink water when you are outside. The packaging itself is well done. The quality is good with lots of great features like an on/off switch and a bite valve. There is a slide closure on the lid which is great, I have had several hydration packs that have screw closures and at times they were difficult to open. Washed once and ready…
