I don't know why, I was expecting threads of water but it's not. Anyhow, I still love it. Vibration is ideal for cleaning, does not harm gums and is very convenient to use. More than expected for the money. It's not very big, fits easily in a travel bag and doesn't require any special knowledge to use it. Just press the button and use it like a toothpick. It's made of hard plastic and feels solid.

It's OK for travel or lazy times when you don't want to floss all the way but need to do something. Better than nothing. The heads are easily interchangeable, the price of dental floss cannot be higher. I took off the asterisk because it doesn't really go through your teeth for a real floss, just at the bottom near the gum line and there's no cap at the top. There are other products that do the same but are not electronic. For the price it does what is expected of it.

I do not understand this product. It vibrates with such force that it damages the gum flange between each tooth. It is impossible to clean the tooth under the gum line of each molar with this product and you can easily damage the gum between each tooth. The naming convention for this product is completely misleading and trying to figure out what it does from text is very frustrating.

I bought this because I've been a dentist for 20 years and the patient told me he uses this for flossing so I checked it out. If you use this to brush your teeth, be aware that you are flossing incorrectly and don't be surprised if your dentist tells you you have gingivitis or worse. It doesn't clean the spaces between your teeth at all.

Why did I buy this? It does not matter. Well, I've only lost $10, and the satisfaction of knowing it is useless. but funny. BTW, WaterPik's customer support is the worst. This product is fantastic. Firstly, I'm a dentist, but I also have braces for the elderly! This is a great solution when you can't use traditional yarn. I actually ENJOY using these in place of my usually favorite GUM manual interdental brushes which say something because they are a good product.
